sydney pt one + two years

Hi gorgeous gals, guys, dogs, people, french fries... whatever you're feeling!
This blog turned two yesterday, I cannot believe that! I don't post nearly enough on here, so what would you guys like to see?

Starting this blog has been one of the best things I've ever done. I've made some incredible friends (I'm looking at you Bella, Xanthe, Brianna, Britt, Emily, Brooke and all you other gorgeous people!) and made some incredible memories. I've discovered more about who I am, and blogging has become such a major part of my life. Some of my best friends don't know a Georgina who didn't blog!

There have been many times I've thought about stopping, I'm not going to lie. Even now, I still consider it, because my posts are so few and far between. However, I'm still blogging, and I'm honestly so happy I am. "That redhead girl who blogs" is who I have become, and there's nothing I would ever change about that!

Here's to many more years of blogging! I love you all so much! Thanks for sticking with this blog through the "travel series" of June 2014, and my all over the place posting last year!

what's in my pencil case 2016

Hello,
Today I'll be showing you what's in my 2016 school year pencil case, so let's get started!

 Here is my pencil case! It's a cute little one with cacti and stripes, and you can find it here in lots of different styles!

 In the front pocket of my pencil case, I have some little cute sticky notes from Daiso, some rocket pencils (coolest pencils ever!), also from Daiso, and some Bic pens in pink, green, purple and blue for any small notes that need to stand out.

 In the larger compartment of my pencil case, I have 5 ballpoint pens from the Kikki K series Kontrast. You can find them here. I also have a basic pencil, red pen, and stabilo highlighter.

 Also in the main compartment, I have my calculator (the scientific calculator required for school), a 15cm ruler, a pineapple eraser and a mini hand sanitiser. I will probably pop a lipbalm in as well!

I wish I could take this sonny angel to school, hehehe!

1 high of blogging and 1 low of blogging? My high is the amazing friends and experiences I've made, and one low is probably that it does take a lot of time to produce consistent posts, which can be very draining and hard to maintain.

what I got for my birthday

Hello there!
As you most likely know (I may have hinted a couple of hundred times ;)) it was my birthday in August! I have decided to write a blog post sharing what I got for my birthday - these photos are long overdue, I apologise! I can't wait to show you guys! Let's get started.

 This is what I got from my parents and family. The camera wasn't so much a present, but I got all the money I needed to buy it on my birthday, so I'm counting it! It's the camera of my dreams, and I am having so much fun using it! I also received some Lush "fun", which is a 4-in-1 washing extraordinaire! (clothes, hair, body and bubble bath!) I also got a neon wallet from Arlington Milnes, and a mint green bag from Milk & Sugar! I love them both <3 p="">

 I also received these wonderful presents from my parents and brother. There's some stickers, a pillowcase, poscas, twine and pencils, as well as some Kikki K (what else?). I also got a movie voucher and Cotton On voucher! I was absolutely spoilt.

 I also got this cute teacup and yummy tea! The teacup was a little bear on the back as well, saying see you soon, as well as a bear on the top! It's very cute, and I love it.

 One of my best friends, Dorothy, threw me a surprise 13th birthday party, so I got spoilt by my friends as well! My friends who couldn't come got me presents too, they are such sweethearts! Elana and Kelly gave me a ton of lollies and chocolate (that have disappeared ;)). Michelle gave me the cute china cat, and Louise gave me a box full of little memories we've had. Dorothy gave me the Lush bath bomb and cat purse. I think my friends know I like cats! Ciara gave me the other bath bomb too!

 Ciara and Chante both gave me boxes full of cute stuff! Ciara's had lip balm, bath melts, the bath bomb and some other things, and Chante's had a bunch of Japanese things! (Poppin cooking, calculator, erasers, poscas, washi tape, notepad and ring!) Lily, Emily and Liana gave me money/vouchers.

 Neena gave me the most wonderful scrapbook ever, which I will use on my holiday next year! Jess gave me an INFLATABLE DONUT which I am only a teensy bit excited about... not! I love it so much!

Our family friends, Caroline, Justin and Poppy, gave me a cute tote bag and a cushion from typo. I think they are absolutely gorgeous and I really love them!


In no way am I meaning to brag, my friends and family went completely overboard and I am so thankful for everything I received!

What's been the best gift you have ever received? I think mine would have to be my camera, hehe!

sorry for my lack of posts lately, I've been in New Zealand ! but more on that later ;)

one, our hotel has milk bottles + straws for breakfast, making you feel very cute while drinking your strawberry or banana milk !

two, our hotel also has banana chips at breakfast ! guys, you don't understand my love for banana chips !

three, that I get ice cream later today !

in your family (at Christmas), do you open presents or eat breakfast first ?

to be honest, I haven't really ever noticed ! we sometimes open presents first, and sometimes we eat breakfast first !

do you find it easier to talk to guys or girls ?

it depends ! but guys I guess, girls you have to worry about backstabbing and guys you don't ! (probably helps that my twin is a boy !)

do you make fun of ads for drama shows on TV ? (occasionally if at all ?)

sometimes heh heh ! but I don't watch much TV :P

how many cousins do you have ?

two, but I don't see them much as they live in another city

on a scale of 6.2 to 91.78, how interesting is your life ? (you may do 1 to 10 if you like… :D)

I spent a while working this one out… 64.18, which is about 7.5/10 if my maths is correct !

what was the best school project you have ever done ?

can I say two ? both from last year... heh heh ! so, I did one last year on the antarctic expedition led by Douglas Mawson which was pretty cool, and I did one on the Australian Federal Budget as well, which was awesome !

what's your biggest pet peeve ?

my brother does this really annoying noise... and how people tan ! I just become a tomato...

touring through blogland

hello!

when the lovely Brittany from Hello Bubblegum Blog and Xanthe from Blame The Cat Blog invited me to participate in the Touring Through Blogland, how could I say no? Tour Through Blogland is basically a chain letter/tag going through all the blogs, where you answer a bunch of questions and tag 2-3 other bloggers to do the same!

What am I working on?
Prepping lot's of blog posts! And poetry writing (click here to see one I posted on instagram) and drawing, and watercolours, and fashion posts, and wish lists, and oh so much more!

How does my work differ from others from it's genre?
Well, I guess you could say it doesn't have a genre, which makes it pretty different. My blog basically expresses who I am as a person; with other things I'd tried to do on the Internet, I had to change to fit in, and that's why I stopped them, but with blogging, I fir right in!

Why do I write/create what I do?
Because that is who I am! I am a fashion-lover, a music-listener, a craft-aholic, a dreamer, everything I blog about is something I'm passionate about!

How does your writing/creating process work?
well, I will think of an idea, from pinterest, instagram, anywhere! and I will write it down. I'll make a draft of some of the text I will use in my post on my ipod. Then I will take the photos. If it's a fashion post, I'll ask my dad to take the photos of me. The rest I take myself :-) I upload the pictures and edit them, before adding them to the text, then one final read through, before I schedule the post! ta-da!
