Kate & Rose

hello!

For Christmas, my wonderful grandma and grandpa gave me two adorable pairs of earrings from a shop called Kate & Rose. Suzanne is the owner of Kate & Rose, and she makes gorgeous cake stands, candles and jewellery. Her cake stands and candles are made of vintage China, which she carefully drills through to make the cake stands, and pours her soy candle wax into for candles. My mum has one of her candles, in an adorable little lemon teacup, and it smells delicious! Her earrings are gorgeous, and don't feel horribly oversized like some earrings do. The details (like the sprinkles) are so, so cute and I love them a lot! The only issue I have had with them is that they do infect my ears after a couple of days, but most of my earrings do that, as my ears are super sensitive, so that's a small issue! If you do have very sensitive ears, like me, I would advise spraying or wiping them with disinfectant prior to putting them on, and putting a bit of tea tree oil on every day when you wear them! You should be fine if you do that!

Overall, her products are heavenly and I thoroughly recommend them! The candle scents are to die for, they are just heavenly! Thank you Kate & Rose for making such gorgeous products!

  2. Hi Georgina, Thank you for the write up. You should have let me know about the issue with the posts. The ones I use are surgical stainless steel which I buy from a store in Tasmania who imports from the USA. I have been thinking of doing a range in sterling silver. The price point will be more. Probably closer to $20 per pair. Thank you for making me aware that there's a real need for these. When I have them available I will let you know, you can test a pair for me :)

    1. Hi Suzanne! That's perfectly alright - and I apologize for not letting you know about the posts! It happens with most of earrings. so it was nothing unusual! I just mentioned it in the post in case anyone else has ears as sensitive as mine! Oh - sterling silver would be perfect, and just worth the price raise, as I rarely can get sterling silver earrings (the only ones my ears agree with) at a reasonable price!

Oh thank you so much! That is SO nice of you Suzanne! See you tomorrow at the Finders Keepers!
