hey there!
you guys mightn't know this, but I am a H U G E sabrina carpenter fan! a lot of you might know her from girl meets world, where she plays Maya Hart, but she is also an incredible singer, with heaps of brilliant songs. I am very excited for smoke and fire to come out. t-minus 13 days!!

as I am such a huge fan, I made an instagram account about two weeks ago devoted to sabrina, called @incredible.sabrina. I've been posting edits on there, so I thought I'd share them with you!

As a blogger, I get more than my fair share of blogger's block. So, I thought I'd put a post up, writing ten prompts for when you have absolutely no idea what to write! I was going to put ideas up, but I find (personally) that I much prefer prompts, as it means what you write is still your own!

lately

Hello!

I haven't done a Lately post in a long time, so I thought I'd do one, as a lot has been happening lately and I wanted to share!

• Okay, so the biggest thing is definitely that I turned 13. I had the best birthday, and my friends and family absolutely spoiled me! A post will be up soon sharing some of the things I got.

• For my birthday, I received quite a bit of money, and was able to buy the camera of my dreams, the Canon EOS 600D. It's an amazing camera, and I have been snapping away happily, so I will be sharing some more photos over time. That photo up there ↑ was one I took on my new camera. I am so in love!

• My best friend and my mum threw me a surprise high tea birthday party! It was the biggest surprise, I came home expecting to do some homework and about half of my closest friends jumped out! I shook for a full ten minutes, they surprised me so well! Thanks to all of them, it was the best birthday ever.

birthday wish list

hello everyone!

In two weeks and two days, I will be 13! Wow, that seems so strange to say, as I have spent most of life imagining what it would be like to be a teenager! I actually don't want much for my birthday, and have decided to do a little explanation behind the 5 items I have chosen!

1. Canon Eos 600D DSLR - Obviously this is quite expensive, at around $500 dollars. I will instead be asking for money to buy this particular camera, as I already have almost $250 dollars saved. This camera is an absolutely gorgeous camera, and I can use the lenses my Dad has on it, which will save me quite a bit! I can't wait until I am able to purchase it!

2. Posca Pens - For quite a while, I have wanted Posca Pens! My primary school had them, and I adored writing and drawing with them, plus they fill blank spaces beautifully! I am interested in the PC 1M and PC 3m varieties, as I don't particularly enjoy overly thick pens!

3. Harper Lee's Go Set The Watchman (I'd also love the latest Ruby Redfort) - It's no secret that I really did enjoy To Kill A Mockingbird. Except, when I finished it, I was rather devastated that there was no sequel. Of course, about two months after I first read it, Harper Lee's second book Go Set A Watchman was announced. It was released last Tuesday, and I really do want it!

4. Free By Cotton On Clothing (one, two, three and four!) - I am having a bit of a wardrobe rethink at the moment. I have a lot of basic pieces, but not a lot of colourful things, which I think reflects me best. So, I had a trawl through Cotton On's website, and found some pretty cute clothes that would just make my wardrobe a lot brighter, and a lot more me!

5. Cotton On Kids Quilt - I admit, I really don't need another quilt cover! This one is absolutely gorgeous though, and I kind of want it a tad too much! I think this would make spring come a lot quicker, and make my room feel quite bright and cheery! I'd probably be a lot more willing to jump into bed, too!

I hope you enjoyed! I most certainly do not expect to get all of these gorgeous items, it really is just a "wish list" of things I would get if my budget was unlimited!

Room Tour // Part 1

hello lovelies!

today's post is extra-diddly-dee-exciting! it's my room tour! I hope you enjoy!

 this is my door! On it I have a two-month calender from Frankie, a door handle I made and two G's my friend made me for my nickname (GG)

this is my beanbag! it's in the corner to the left of my door and it's from target! to the left I have old school projects, a sketchbook and some hello kitty contact. on it I have a cushion from typo and a bunny rabbit, and to the right I have some happy lab chocolate.

this is my window! to the left is my typo calender, on the windowsill is my sunglasses bag from mozi, a succulent plant, a photo frame and a paper eiffel tower! I made the garland myself, a tutorial can be found here

this is my doll house! I can't bear to part with it! to the right I have a cute tin container with roses and a water bottle!

this here is my desk! it's a micke desk from ikea and I love it, but I really, really want a trestle!! I don't think I shall ever get one though... :)

here is my white crate with my pens. on the left I have a folder and some notebooks, and in the crate I have my watercolours, sharpies, bic mark its and stabilo pens. next to it in the jar I have my most used pens and pencils.

in front of the crate I have my travel journal (for europe) and a kikki. k stamp set. (excuse my slippers!!)

on the other side of the desk I have my speakers, my red heart thingy from typo, my owl from typo, my bunny from my parents and my alarm clock from a boutique store I can't remember the name of.

here is my gorgeous box my mum's friend made for my birthday, with washi tape and foam letters! I love it! on it I have a little owl lip balm and a lid(?), and north of it I have a donut coaster, a scrunchie and a friendship loom bracelet.

this is my pin board. the two white pictures are of my friends so I turned them over. my friend made the wooden 'G' for me for christmas, I got the card for babysitting a cat and my friend made me the poster! the butterfly and easter egg are ceramic and absolutely gorgeous, and I do love 1D so I have a lanyard thingy!

Hello gals and guys!
This is my most wished for items in a wishlist! As you can see, I really like cushions and pillows (argh so comfy!) And I am loving triangle prints, so why not combine that love into one with that Cotton & Flax Cushion?? Also, I've wanted a stamp set since forever, and this one looks just like my favourite font, so I'll be snapping it up next time I'm in Kikki. K! The stationery theme continues with that gorgeous pen, which is multicoloured! sigh...

Isn't the constellation print on the Citta Design pillowcase gorgeous? Looks a bit like confetti, which is a trend I am loving! And I really connect with the title of the cactus embroidery from Jasmine Dowling!! And just because I love cactus', I threw in the Chloe and Le Chat print, which is so pretty! Also, that backpack is divine!!

What's on my iPod

Today's post is... What's On My iPod!! Please comment below any apps you think I should get and feel free to email / comment if you want to know more about a certain app!

This is my lockscreen! Because iPod Touch 4th Gen's don't update to ios7, I'm stuck with ios6! oh well!

I got both my wallpapers from here

My first page is basically just the built in apps! I basically have the built in apps that I do use outside the Utilities folder, and the ones I don't inside it! On the bottom bar I have things I use frequently/pratically every spare moment!

My next page is only apps I've downloaded. I've sorted them like this for no particular reason other than the fact that I'm an organisational freak. Seriously.

I don't have many social apps; this is it other then Instagram!

Blogger - the Blogger app is great because I have to share my computer with my family, so I can put all the photos into a post on the computer, and write it on my iPod!

Pinterest - I only just got it recently, and I don't use it much, because I get so addicted to it! When I'm on it, I just can't get off! I do love it so!

Polyvore - Great. For. Wishlists. Kind of like Pinterest, but you make "boards" of things, like an outfit, or a bedroom, or things like that. My Polyvore account id called @chocdippedstrawberries (don't ask)

Then Editing. I put the InstaFollow app in here because I had only just got it and wasn't thinking. Bear with me!

ABM app (A Beautiful Mess) - gorgeous blog, gorgeous girls, gorgeous shop, gorgeous houses, gorgeous book, how much more gorgeous can you get? oh an app. get any more gorgeous and the earth is at risk!! just kidding. this app IS amazing though, the "doodles" are so cute and I love the fonts! 

iMovie - I haven't used this much, but I will be using it for future projects on the blog! I love the music they provide so much!!

Instafollow - to see who I haven't yet followed back on Instagram, to see who unfollowed and other things too!

Squaready - makes pictures that aren't a suitable shape for Instagram suitable! soooooo good!

Video Star - a little like iMovie, but you film yourself (and friends. and cat. and possibly neighbour over the fence putting out the laundry) dancing to music and add effects! my friends and I have so much fun doing these!

VSCO Cam - BEST. EFFECTS. EVERRRRRR! makes any picture look great!

Lifestyle! Basically anything else! haha

365 Big Day Lite - I was using this to count down to my Europe trip!

iBooks - for reading??

LINE Brush and SketchBook MobileX - drawing!!

Games! For when I have no internet / am bored.
